Dr. Alyssa, a native of Iowa, graduated from Waukee High School before earning her Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Northern Iowa. She went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic, where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2025.
Having experienced chronic migraines throughout her childhood and early adulthood, Dr. Alyssa initially sought relief through conventional medication, but found little improvement. This led her to explore alternative approaches, ultimately discovering the benefits of chiropractic care. Through a structured treatment plan, she experienced a significant reduction in both the frequency and severity of her migraines.
As a family-centered clinic, Dr. Alyssa is especially passionate about supporting first responders. With a brother serving as a firefighter and EMT in multiple departments throughout the Des Moines Metro and an uncle who is a firefighter in Waterloo, Iowa, she has a deep, personal appreciation for the sacrifices these individuals make. Just as first responders dedicate themselves to caring for the community, Dr. Alyssa is committed to caring for them.
